Shift Change - Darling Harbour

We were sitting in Darling Harbour planning what to do next, when I noticed this group of workers from a nearby building site walking towards us.  I assume that their shift had just ended and that they were on the way home.  I rather liked the 'high vis' yellow as a contrast to the clothes the other people are wearing.

You can can find more shots from around the world at Our World Tuesday.

  5. Yellow is so visible, I always wear bright colours out cycling or walking. Not just because of drivers, but because of hunters as well here in France when on country roads!!! Diane

  7. You couldn't possibly overlook them as they go about their work. High visibility is a good thing when you are in a dangerous job as I assume these people are.

  9. They certainly do not blend in.
There is a shade of orange here, that is officially called "safety orange."
